Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full Mouth Reconstruction in Greenbelt, MD

Consider the daily tasks our teeth accomplish. After years of biting, chewing, clenching, and grinding, our teeth lose some of their vitality. Enamel wears away, our teeth become cracked or chipped, and we even lose teeth to damage or disease. When it comes to dental care, the march of time is reversible. Full mouth reconstruction will restore whatever your mouth has lost, returning function and aesthetic appeal.

Full mouth reconstruction may entail:

  • Dental implants
  • Bridges
  • Dentures
  • Partial dentures
  • Crowns
  • Composite fillings

…and additional cosmetic or periodontal services. No matter your concerns, our compassionate dentists will treat you as an individual and come to understand your case. Once we have established a relationship with you, we will be equipped to proceed in the way that is best for your needs. Full mouth reconstruction is Dr. Barzgar and Dr. Pakpour’s specialty.

Regain Tooth Function in A Single Day

Full mouth reconstruction with dental implants can take a period of several months. Our dentists weren’t satisfied with a process that prolongs patients’ time without new teeth. We now offer a revolutionary single-day full mouth reconstruction with dental implants, in order to restore smiles with haste.

Looking to Transition from Dentures to Dental Implants?

If you wear dentures and would like to transition to stable, non-removable teeth, our dentists are able to place dental implants and create independent teeth from your dentures, all within the space of one day. The steps of single day full mouth reconstruction are as follows:

You bring your dentures to Cherrywood Dental Associates in Greenbelt for your appointment.

Your dentist places six implants in the maxilla (upper jaw).

We create individual teeth from the teeth secured together in your dentures. These teeth screw into the implants that were just placed.

You leave the appointment with new tooth roots and non-removable teeth. You will be able to eat with them, and speak normally. Your dentures have become more natural in look and feel!

Though we mentioned placing implants in the maxilla because it is more common, we are able to place them in the lower jaw as well. Should you desire implants but wish to continue using dentures, we are able to place the implants and secure your dentures to the foundation they create. No matter your wishes, we will accommodate them. We gain professional and personal satisfaction from meeting your dental needs and exceeding your expectations.

If you have any questions about full mouth reconstruction or the single day procedure, please contact our office. We are eager to restore your bite and smile.
