Replace Missing Teeth in One Appointment

Cherrywood Dental • Sep 17, 2013
While dentures have provided tooth replacement solutions for countless patients, they aren’t always the ideal option. They don’t come close to offering the stability you enjoy with other restorations that draw on the strength of remaining teeth. But what can patients missing most or all of their teeth do? Dentures are no longer your only choice. By pairing your dentures with dental implants, you will be able to provide your tooth replacements with anchors that hold them snugly against your jaw. And with our TeethXpress implant procedure, you’ll be able to leave our office with your implants and dentures in place after just a single appointment.

The TeethXpress Dental Implant Procedure

  1. In order for dental implants to succeed and integrate with your bone, you will need to be in good oral health and periodontal health when they are placed. If need be, we will help to reach that healthy place with periodontal treatment.
  2. Dr. Barzgar will make incisions in your gums so as to reach your jaw bone.
  3. The implants (which look like silver screws) will be screwed into your bone until they are safely embedded.
  4. Abutments will be placed atop the implants, to connect them to the dentures.
  5. Your dentures will be secured to the implants and held fast. You will leave our office with a mouth of new teeth that feel and look stable and natural!

Restrictions for TeethXpress Patients

Due to complications, it may not be appropriate for you to receive implants and have your dentures placed above them in a single day. Should you require some extra healing time, we will work with you to determine an alternative plan. Whether you can receive a same-day restoration or not, receiving implants will help you move toward a point of stable tooth replacement. Give our office a call or send us a message to discuss your dental implant possibilities.
